Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Dira platform ("Service") operated by Compliance Dira Ltd ("Dira", "we"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind your organisation to these terms. The Service is intended for business use.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at team@compliancedira.com of any unauthorised access. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to: • Use the Service to process data unlawfully or in violation of any applicable law • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service • Use the Service to infringe the intellectual property rights of others • Transmit harmful, offensive, or fraudulent content through the Service

You retain ownership of all personal data you upload to or process through the Service ("Customer Data"). Dira processes Customer Data only on your instructions and in accordance with our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which forms part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your account data.

Paid plans are billed in advance monthly or annually. Prices are stated in KES and are exclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days notice. Failure to pay will result in suspension of the Service.

We offer a 30-day free trial with full feature access. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you may choose to subscribe or your account will be suspended.

Dira and its licensors own all rights in the Service, including the software, design, and content. These Terms do not grant you any intellectual property rights in the Service.

The Service is provided "as is". Dira makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from errors. Dira is a compliance tool - you remain responsible for your own regulatory compliance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dira's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. Dira is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.

Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days notice. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms. On termination, you may export your data for 30 days before it is deleted.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kenya.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email with 14 days notice before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
